Had my first surprise engagement shoot over the weekend. I’ve always wanted to do one so this was so much fun and exciting. I’ll tell you, NOTHING is as stressful as getting stuck in traffic for an occasion like this but we pulled it off and more importantly she said YES!!! So glad I could be there for the big moment. Congratulations to all that coordinated the event and Congratulations to the happy couple!!!

One of the best parts about being a photographer is getting to do spur of the moment photo shoots with my family. Look at this little cutie! 😻

We were on our way to the location we agreed upon when we discovered that it had closed because the owners were separating and embroiled in a property dispute. Luckily my sister in law had some property close by that we were able to go to for our session. It really worked out! Another example of how being flexible can yield great results! Thanks for letting us use the grounds!

This picture was so cute but not everyone’s eyes were open for it. I was able to take a similar picture where their eyes were open and transfer it over to this one. The technique in photoshop is simply called an eye swap and can be common among photographers trying to get the perfect shot! Can you tell? If you ever wonder where your money goes when booking a photographer now you know! How many people would be interested in a before and after example?

These guys were such troopers. Not long into our photo shoot it started pouring rain!! Just goes to show you that you can’t control everything and if you roll with the punches beautiful work comes out. These two were adorable.

I can tell you, I’m so much more comfortable behind the camera then in front of but I thought I’d say hello and show off my beautiful daughters. Being a parent is one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life and I’m so proud to be a father of two beautiful girls. They inspire me every day to be the man that they deserve.

One of my favorite families. These kids are so wild with wiggles and golden hearts. My favorite part of repeat clients is seeing how everyone changes and grows from shoot to shoot.
