A few years ago, we had an incredible opportunity to partner with another software company to create a new customer experience on a popular cruise line. This project gave cruise guests the ability to opt in to an enhanced experience that included a radio-enabled wearable. When worn, it allowed guests to know where they were, order food and drinks and get them delivered to their location. While doing all of this, the wearable also simultaneously acted as their room key and map to navigate the massive ship.

While there were predictable hiccups along the way, this product was a great success and our work helped deliver an entirely new way to interact on cruise ships.

In 2019, we were given a pretty amazing opportunity to partner with an excellent aerospace firm and their manufacturer to help them streamline their building process. We collaborated with them to deliver data-driven, groundbreaking web apps to serve everyone from factory floor workers to the C-suite.

This project, coming with a substantial amount of legacy code and data, has required us to plunge in. While this can become difficult, we're fortunate that a key characteristic of all Helpful Human team members is the ability to engage complexity courageously and we've been able to hit the ground running on this one!

This suite of integrated apps assists factory floor workers in the assembly of planes, analyze and edit production models used by managers and the c-suite, and provide predictive data analytics to help reduce delays in the production of aerospace products. We are so proud of this current collaboration with our client.

Unprecedented times in 2020 left many businesses facing a predicament: they either needed to pivot and succeed or continue on and possibly fail. Because of this, many needed to switch to digital solutions for a primarily digital way of life. In research by Accelerated Strategies Group, Inc., 63.3% of businesses said that they have made digital transformation a priority for their company after 2020. These focuses include contactless services, cloud migration, and DevOps activities.

2020 has proven that businesses who are able to pivot as the world continues to move in a more digital direction will see more and more success. What changes to the digital business world did you see in 2020 that you think will continue for years to come?
