This book, written by Andrew and Kara K. Root (husband and wife), is a great invitation into letting go, reconnecting, and getting a teeny bit of theology in the form of a relaxing summer read. The book weaves philosophical reflection on the busyness of our society with parenting and cultural Christianity—all filtered through a familial pilgrimage on St. Cuthbert’s Way, which is on the border of England and Scotland.

Free copy of A Pilgrimage Into Letting Go for Early Bird registrants, by June 1 (while supplies last)! This book would be a great way to prepare for the retreat, as well as a great summer read.

Thank you, Tom, for visiting Seattle Pacific Seminary!

Over 2,000 people joined us on Monday and Tuesday for an inspiring time with N.T. Wright, drawing from his recent books The Vision of Ephesians and God’s Homecoming. It was moving to see Christians from many traditions gathered together to worship and to meditate on Scripture. Truly, our time was one of Wonder, Love, and Praise.
