Washington State Nurses Association
Founded in 1908, WSNA is the leading voice and advocate for nurses in Washington state.
WSNA is the largest and oldest professional organization and union for registered nurses in Washington and has the resources, expertise and experience to be an effective and powerful advocate for nurses and the nursing profession. As a dynamic, democratic organization, WSNA gives members a powerful voice in the future of the nursing profession and in their own careers. We also provide nurses the confidence and comfort of knowing that a powerful partner is working with them and on their behalf every single day. With conviction and knowledge, WSNA speaks for nurses across this state and we know how to make sure your voice is heard.
We'd like to introduce you to WSNA PAC endorsed candidate Jessica Forsythe of the 48th legislative district, which includes Redmond, Bellevue, and Kirkland.
VOTE NO ON 645 — What do you think is the intent behind Initiative 645? And what do we know about who is behind the push for this Initiative?
Jessica Hauffe, WSNA Director of Government Affairs, sits down with April Sims, President of the Washington State Labor Council, to discuss the broader context of Initiative 645. I-645 is being funded and pushed by some of Washington's wealthiest interests, while the consequences could fall hardest on working families and those with the least room to absorb cuts or higher costs.
WSNA supports the NO on 645 campaign.

On Labor Day, we remember the contributions of generations of working people who sacrificed and organized to secure the rights and protections most workers enjoy today.
Labor Day also serves as a reminder that our work is not complete, and that progress to further improve working conditions will not come easily or by accident.
Every gain for American workers in the past—safer jobs, better wages, benefits, retirement security, and a stronger voice on the job—was won because people formed unions, mobilized and demanded change.
Today's message is from WSNA PAC endorsed candidate Representative Shelley Kloba of the 1st legislative district, which includes Bothell, Kenmore, and surrounding areas.
