Seattle University Project day was a big success. Our Sustainability consulting team was able to design an 80% more sustainable ski (by material volume) for Joe to build and we had it on-hand for the event!

Our Seattle University Sustainability Project is almost complete with the outcome being that our projects team implemented four sustainable materials to make a more environmentally friendly ski. Now we are looking for customer sustainability data to support our final paper and presentation.

Just picked up some Sustainable FSC Poplar for our first sustainable ski! Thankfully they didn't give us a few more free inches, as it barely fit in the Corolla!

We believe we can make a more sustainable ski without large cost increases. Along with FSC Wood we utilize recycled bases, non-petroleum based wax and other sustainable materials to take the first step in the journey toward sustainability!

Looks like our first veneer skis are a success!

Joe figured out a way to make the tip nice and stiff as well as light. This feature is incorporated in this new pair and will decrease the weight of future ski tips!

My first day out skiing my brand new all mountain custom skis that I built with my own hands and they perform really well. I printed off sheet music from a song I'm learning for the design on the top.
