Getting excited! It’s not everyday we get to be a part of such an art as stained glass. Gary with Art Glass Technologies has been passionately doing stained glass since the 70’s! We are beyond thankful to be working with him on our Queen Anne craftsman remodel. Pictured here is an original piece by him in collaboration with and our client. What a welcoming piece to serve as the front door lite. Gary, you will probably never see this but know we are thankful for you!!

Matchwood Homes is a joint venture with the land owner that provided the opportunity for Citizen Design and Valor Builds to create a new urban community. Each single-family residence boasts a unique architectural design, thoughtfully integrating contemporary elements with classic aesthetics. Expansive windows invite natural light to cascade through the interiors, illuminating the spacious living areas and creating an inviting ambiance.

In this project, we preserved the sentimental essence of a beloved family home while modernizing its functionality. The home boasts an open floor plan and an effective use of steel, concrete, and walnut throughout. A central custom cast-in-place concrete fireplace, steel and walnut stairway, and 18-foot basalt tile feature wall stand out as striking focal points.

Located in Seattle, this cottage has been transformed into a stunning modern home by its owners, who also happen to be architects. Seeking contemporary design the new home features a plethora of bold, personal touches throughout. Skylights flood the space with natural light, custom woodwork fills areas such as the kitchen and bedrooms, and clever built-ins maximize every inch.

Valor Builds was challenged with building the custom remodel of the iconic penthouse located at Smith Tower. This project didn’t come without challenge. No freight elevator in this old of a building meant nothing over 8’. From framing through to finishes everything needed careful attention and deliberate intention. Can never look at finished photos without remembering the build experience. What a privilege it was to work on this project!

A local developer approached Collaborative wanting to build two new homes on a challenging steep slope lot in West Seattle. The homes feature single-car garages, elevators, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and open light-filled living spaces. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the master bedroom face the water views as well as the deck off the living room that opens up to the territorial views of the Puget Sound.
