Meet Helen Wildy, a new-comer Seattle comic coming to campus tomorrow for Comedyshow.exe!
Born in Belfast, N. Ireland and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Helen Wildy is now a Seattle-based comic. Helen has been featured in the Burning Bridges Comedy Festival (Pittsburgh), Charm City Comedy Festival(Baltimore), Midwest Q***r Comedy Fest (Louisville), Detroit Women in Comedy Festival, and the Pittsburgh Comedy Festival. In October 2018, Helen opened for Cameron Esposito on two nights of her “Person of Consequence” Tour. For the month of January 2019, she was the comic in residence at Burning Bridges Comedy Club in Pittsburgh, PA. She was an EMCEE at the Pittsburgh Improv for Erik Griffin in April 2019. She also featured for Aaron Kleiber at the Pittsburgh Improv in July 2019.
Helen was nominated as “Best Comedian” in Pittsburgh Magazine’s 2019 “Best of the Burgh” and was featured in an article in the same publication as “One of the 5 Funniest People in Pittsburgh (You Haven’t Heard Of).”

Meet our feature, Chris Mejia!
Born in Puerto Rico but raised in Florida, Chris Mejia is taking the Seattle comedy scene by storm. Chris’ comedy seamlessly blends fun pop culture observations with takes on harder topics like being a POC.
Chris has opened for national headliners such as Jak Knight, Langston Kerman and Kiry Shabazz, is a paid regular at the famous Comedy Underground and Laughs Comedy Club in Seattle, was a Semi-Finalist for the 39th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition, and performed at Bumbershoot and ComedyFort. Chris is regarded as a bright up & comer as he performs all across the West Coast.

He has appeared on The History Channel, Spike TV, and The Starz Network, and has seven hilarious comedy albums to his credit, with his latest, Unclean, being featured on Sirius/XM's Raw Dog Comedy Channel. He has over 7.5 million spins on Pandora, and over a million on Spotify.
In May of 2018 Skyhorse Publishing released the comedian's first book, Punching N***s, and other good ideas, a collection of short stories, essays, and interviews.
