We’re proud to share that Cedar Grove President Stephan Banchero was recently honored with the John M. Fluke Sr. Award for entrepreneurial spirit and community leadership!

“Our goal as a family business is to continually pursue opportunities and invest in our community locally.” What started as a vision to keep food and yard waste out of landfills has grown into work that helps return nutrients to soils, support stormwater solutions and create more sustainable systems for our communities.

We’re grateful for the recognition and proud of the work our team continues to do every day 🚛♻️🌍

A little Earth Day recap! We spent the month out at events across the community, answering questions about soil health, food waste, and how composting works and why it matters 🌎

It’s always fun putting faces to the community we’re part of and sharing what happens after the bin when leftovers get turned into something useful again. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to learn more or just say hi 🌱🫶

Healthy soil does more than grow plants, it helps protect our waterways too. Every time we drive, tiny but toxic pollutants from tires, brakes and engines get left behind. When it rains these contaminants wash into storm drains and streams, harming our waterways and contributing to salmon pre spawn mortality and mass die-offs.

But nature could have a solution! Recent studies show compost can capture and filter toxins before rain can wash them away. Now, these innovative systems are being installed along roadsides and in catch-basins to trap pollution before it reaches our waterways and wildlife

Your green waste doesn’t just become compost, it becomes part of the solution by helping protect waterways and salmon with every rainfall!
