A couple moments on film in a lot of denim.

It has felt like for quite some time that we are living in a time where we are the most connected and disconnected at the same time.

Social media and comparison can make us feel like we are falling behind and not doing enough. I know I felt both of those things as I took a step back the past couple of months, and many other times. I also feel that social media has the ability to connect, inspire, and make us feel less alone in our journeys and feelings. I think that’s why I’m typing this. A little reminder to myself that we’re all connected, that we’re not alone in whatever we are feeling, and that it’s ok to take breaks.

SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS

A couple digital moments from the parade yesterday while I wait to get this film back. I can’t remember the last time I saw the city filled with so much joy. 1,000,000 people celebrating in the streets with the sun shinning in Seattle.

34. Gratitude. Grateful for another day and year. To still have the opportunity to get better, grow, and chase my dreams everyday. To still be sober. This year was a heavy one, but I’m proud of myself for always finding a way to keep going. It’s all part of the plan even if we can’t see it. Grateful for these moments of reflection, it’s always beautiful to look back and see where we were at and how far we have come. Like a little digital postcard to our future self. A lot can change in a year. Grateful for my friends, family, and higher power. Always dream big and keep going. You got this 💗

This past weekend we got the opportunity to pop-up in a way we haven’t before. When we started this journey, this version of was what I dreamed of seeing one day. A big striped awning, cortados and cappuccinos, green crates everywhere. People sitting down, talking and laughing. We like to say that “a lot can happen over a cup of coffee”. I can remember so many important life moments, ideas, and conversations that happened in cafes. What drink I got, if it came in a ceramic cup, maybe even with a saucer, how big or small my pants were, maybe it was during my lavender latte phase.

It hasn’t been easy, but I really believe in the act of taking an idea and bringing it to life. It’s something I’ve been chasing my whole life and something I wasn’t able to actualize for this dream until I got sober.

Hella grateful to Izzie of Marigold & Mint and Ali of Friend Museum & In Between Market for all of their work on the holiday market. To Henry, Dom, Morgan and the RailSpur team for helping make this dream and moment a reality. To my partner Parker. To Maddie for working on a tight timeline to build the awning. To Shakore for always lending a hand, ear & eye. To Jake for every photo, video, and a million other things. To Tatiana & Key. Logan & Nick. And so many more.

Our plan is to pop-up a few more times in the space the remainder of this month. I really appreciate anyone that has taken the time to come to any one of our pop-ups the past 2 years. People’s time and energy is valuable and making time to come to anything is really real. I don’t think anyone reads captions anymore and this was really long, so if you made it this far… thank you 💗🫂
