Shady spots like the north side of the house, or the dappled shade of a tree are a great spot for your summer greens. Where would you go to escape the sun on a hot day? That's where you plant some delicate leafy greens. Try a raised bed. Really raised. Like pots on a picnic bench or hanging baskets. Eat summer leaves fast, cut from one side, then the next. In the heat, rotate harvest and seed, plants will bolt quickly. Yum, baby greens.

Euphorbia lathyris - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Euphorbia lathyris (Caper Spurge or Paper Spurge) is a species of spurge native to southern Europe (France, Italy, Greece, and possibly southern England), northwest Africa, and eastward through southwest Asia to western China.[1][2][3]
