Hooray for mangos!

A recent study done by researchers at Louisiana State University found that adults who eat mangoes ate less sugar and sodium, were less likely to be overweight, and had lower levels of C-reactive protein, a maker of inflammation in the bloodstream that may precipitate other chronic diseases. Preliminary evidence also shows that the antioxidants in mangoes may have anticancer properties.
