I also explore 4 options for pairing hot sauce with meats and cheese. Fruit based - similar to having jam on the board, a fruit based hot sauce brings some sweet heat. Riverside @salsamrdiablito spices things up with his pineapple habanero. “Pickle” style - pickles, meat and cheese are the sandwich classic combo - keep those vibes rolling! While this crazy creative sauce from Seattle area @bootsiessauceco doesn’t have cucumbers, it does have pickle brine and I love the creativity. Mustard-based - brings some sharpness to the palate. @kissmysouthernsauce won the Dirty South Dragon (Best on Wings) and will be featured at the @hotsaucefest.atl #hotwings popup at @atlantucky on 1/31 from 12-6. Garlic forward - quick flavor booster. @seafiregourmet won the 2025 Stinky Dragon (Best Garlic / onion forward sauce) - it also has some sweetness to it. Seattle area @seafiregourmet snagged 1st Place in the @hotsaucefest.atl Stinky Dragon 2025 award category for Best Garlic or Onion Forward sauce. Orlando @thestankysauce grabbed 3rd in the same category. Seafire Garlic Habamero is a little sweeter and hotter than Stanky Garlic Datil, but both are highly crushable and a must have if you like the #stinkingrose . @karmasauce Funkin Yellow grabbed the top slot in the Fire Dragon category for Super Hot sauces which is a high dose of yellow Moruga Scorpions to finish with some burn!
