Let us be specific about what the Lock It In rate actually costs you, because "it has restrictions" is not useful information to anybody.
Three things:
* You cannot change the date
* You cannot choose your room
* You get a 15 day dining window rather than booking your restaurants earlier
The dining one gets talked about the most and it is honestly the least serious of the three. If you are happy having dinner at 9:30pm, you will be absolutely fine. Plenty of people are.
The room is the one that matters, and whether it matters to you comes down to one question. Does noise bother you?
Some people are genuinely not affected. They sleep through anything and this entire conversation is irrelevant to them. Good, book it, enjoy the savings.
If you are not one of those people, Lock It In is a really awful option, and no amount of savings fixes a week of bad sleep.

Want to know the softest window to sail Virgin Voyages out of Miami? It's right after the holidays.
Here's the deal. Everybody just spent their money in December. Kids are back in school. Demand dips, and the pricing follows it. January is consistently one of the better value months on the Miami sailings.
Real example: the 4 night Fire and Sunsets sailing we did this past January. A Sea Terrace on that sailing was $1,800.
That's a genuinely strong number for a Sea Terrace on a 4 night out of Miami. Not a Solo Insider, not an inside cabin. A Sea Terrace.
Just know that this is the kind of thing you only catch by looking at the calendar strategically instead of picking whatever week is convenient. Time of year is one of the biggest levers on what you pay, and it moves the number far more than any promo code ever will. Same ship, same cabin, same itinerary, two different months, two very different prices.
One heads up though, and it's the reason I'm not telling you to sit on this: that sailing sold out completely by the end of December. The soft window is real, but it doesn't stay soft forever once people notice.
If you're flexible on dates, tell us. That flexibility is usually worth more than any deal we can find you.
