World Concern
Today, our emphasis is on holistic community development as we equip villages to determine and implement their own development projects.

Families in East Africa, especially those in Somalia, are enduring an incredibly difficult season due to severe drought.
We may not all be able to change the world overnight, but we are all invited to walk alongside them in prayer, and action. Let us remember that even the smallest act of kindness and sincere prayer reflects the heartbeat of God for His children. 🙏

Gaston spent years battling illness — weak, isolated, and falling behind. Then help arrived in the form of a single pill that changed everything.
Today he is healthy, strong, and back to being an 11-year-old boy.

We were deeply moved to tears by Radio Taylor Mills’ beautiful testimony during her recent live stream! 🩵
She shared a powerful story about meeting someone for the very first time, and how God opened the door for her to speak about World Concern, the Hope Squad, and most importantly, the love of Jesus.
Hearing how she naturally wove faith and mission into a first-time conversation was a beautiful reminder of what it truly means to be a light in this world.
If you feel inspired to join Taylor in standing with families at the end of the road and bringing the hope of Jesus to the most remote places, please visit the links below.

[A Prayer for Our Neighbors in the DRC and Uganda]
An Ebola outbreak is spreading in parts of the DRC and Uganda, bringing fear and heartbreak to many families.
World Concern has staff and community programs located very close to these areas. Thankfully, there are no reported cases in the areas where we’re working, and our teams are working carefully to help keep everyone safe.
Please join us in prayer today:
- For comfort and peace for the families who have lost loved ones.
- For a swift end to the outbreak, for the virus to be contained, and lives to be spared.
- For the health and safety of staff and families in the communities we serve.
Thank you for praying with us. 🙏

What happens when a mother is given the tools to overcome a drought? 🌱
In eastern Kenya, the dusty ground used to offer no hope for crops, leaving families like Maida's in a constant cycle of survival.
But we believe that even the driest landscapes can bloom with the right partnership.
Through World Concern’s irrigation and farming training, Maida is now growing abundant crops and, for the first time, is able to save for her children's future.
This is Project: Lasting Change in action—transforming a medical emergency into a sustainable future.

Have you ever wanted to help our global neighbors but felt unsure where or how to start? 🌍✨
You don't have to change the world today, but you can start at your own dinner table. 💛
Here are 3 simple, meaningful ways to turn your next meal into an act of faith and solidarity:
- Pray with Purpose: Pause for those facing hunger.
- Start a Conversation: Share why global nutrition matters.
- Celebrate with Impact: Use your special day to change a life. 🎂
Which of these will you bring to your table this week?

Jesus gives us each day not just to pass through, but to live with purpose together.✨ From a child embracing a playful goat to neighbors working side-by-side in the fields, these moments capture the fullness of the days God has given. It’s a beautiful reminder that His grace is alive and moving in every community we serve. We are so grateful to walk alongside such inspiring individuals, learning together in Jesus what it means to turn each day into a story of strength and hope.
The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad. - Psalm 118:24
Special thanks to Matt Hammitt for beautifully inspiring template. We know it was originally crafted for , but we loved giving it a beautiful new twist today! 😊

A hungry child can't learn. 📚
In South Sudan and Somalia, millions of children still go to school hungry — making it harder to show up, focus, and stay.
Proper nutrition changes that. That's why it's at the heart of what World Concern does.
