What better way to kick off the long weekend than with waffles? Treat yourself a little early by stopping by tomorrow to taste our 3 new creations at the U-District location! From left to right, we have a vanilla waffle with a seasonal fruit compote, vanilla anglaise, and wafer crumb; a matcha coconut latte waffle with honey candy, matcha moose, and drizzle of honey; and a savory olive oil waffle with chorizo crumbles, egg, mild cheddar, and pico de gallo. We're making a list, checking it twice, and roasting a coffee that is juicy and nice. This year's festive combination features two washed coffees from Colombia and Kenya, and a dash of light-roasted magic from the North Pole.
Look for notes of white nectarine, molasses, and brown sugar.
Retail bags are now available in cafes and on the web store.
