As Seattle adjusts its zoning to allow for more housing, we continue to explore how to increase density on smaller lots with thoughtful design. Excited to partner with ADEFUA on their new African Cultural Arts Center Rainier Valley, a vibrant hub for intergenerational learning and the celebration of African culture. ADEFUA has been an amazing community asset for 40 years and we are truly honored to collaborate with them on the design of a permanent home for the organization. A big thank you to ADEFUA Cultural Education Workshop for the opportunity!

Framing is moving fast on our latest Residential Small Lot (RSL) project taking shape in the Hillman City neighborhood. A simple metal clad gable form intersects with a green roofed box to form an internal courtyard. The siting of the house in the rear of the lot allows for privacy while adding density to the urban fabric. Stay tuned for project updates.
