What a year it’s been! Shouout to everyone that has helped us create more of an impact this year. Coworkers, friends, clients, and kids playing in the gardens we built- we appreciate you!
As time goes on our hopes are to develop a strong team of passionate individuals, and eventually form a collective of/for people who are passionate about creating and maintaining thriving ecosystems, having a relationship to the food they consume, and building community that is inclusive and inspiring.
Our goal will always be to empower our team members and clients to gain from the work we do- learning, earning, and deepening their relationship to their native plants, soil, water, and seasons 🌞💪
Had a great time renovating the backyard of some close friends for our first project in Seattle.
We built this walkway out of beautiful granite flagstone pieces to make the backyard more accessible, and filled in all around it with a variety of plants like ferns, clump grasses, and coral bells. In all the bare patches of soil we densely planted bulbs of tulips, crocuses and alliums that will pop up in the spring time!

Hopping on here to make the announcement that we have moved our business from where it began and has operated the past few years in Boulder, CO up to the Pacific Northwest. We are now operating in North Seattle and looking to begin working with landowners on new projects for this coming spring and summer!
We are very excited to become more familiar and involved with the rich & lush bioregion that is the Salish sea and its surrounding areas. Stay tuned!

Purple chokecherries, Cyprus grass, & horsetails along the canal.. Raspberry patches and wild roses. This will be a magical little area over time.
This was our final project of the summer before moving from Boulder County. We are now based in Seattle and continuing work here!

Transforming this space from a rocky, neglected zone on the property into more of a cohesive, vegetated and useable area was a fun challenge.

One of my favorite long-time clients standing in her wildflower patch/fairy garden! Swipe for the before, and during photos of this part of her yard.
Deb loves to grow a colorful array of pollinator-attracting flowers each year, and came to me originally to help her turn this patch of dirt into a patch of just that. We got to work on the soil, set a couple of steppers, seeded, irrigated, and soon this is how it looked!
My favorite part of this job is helping people be able feel more connected to their home landscape, and seeing them tend to it.
