At first, the blog was my personal gardening journal that focused on basic gardening advice, DIY projects, and stylish garden-y accessories. Lesson learned. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Two fruit trees infested with peach tree borers. Another year lost of fruit bearing trees in the backyard.

Someone asked how to plant gutter gardens if you can't hang them. Building a shelf to support the curved bottoms from teeter-tottering is an option. I can think of a handful of ways to construct one. But here's one idea:
