Development of Open Source, enclosed ecosystems that are Self Sustaining and relatively inexpensive to build.

Goals of the project is to provide an open testbed for sustainable systems that can be used in orbit and/or off world. Terrestrial applications include Personal and/or community food production (possibly in environments not normally useable for those particular crops), a teaching resource (for science, permaculture, and climate change), back-up biosphere during an environmental emergency (volcano, snowstorm, heatwave, etc), or just a nice place to hang out during inclement weather.
