We are here to promote wellness, education, community, advocacy and support for transgender and gender nonconforming people of color and their partners.

As life moves forward, we live through the creation of boxes that we have used to put away various life traumas and hardships. We then also are required by the greater society to fit into the boxes that they have designed for us because of our born s*x, perceived gender, race, and expected s*xuality. It is a new day. Worq It Out -- Monthly LGBTQ Worker Support Group
Every month, LGBTQ Allyship hosts a worker support group where LGBTQ identified workers can come and get information about their worker rights, resources, and just share their experiences and frustrations about work with other LGBTQ workers. This month we will be doing origami together.

House of Q***r
The House of Q***r Conference is free, includes food, and will center perspectives of and spaces for 2SQT people of color, renters across generations living on low incomes, and people who have experiences with houselessness.

Workshops on the Rights of Q***rs (WORQ) at Work: Trans and Gender Nonbinary Edition
LGBTQ Allyship is facilitating a workshop on how trans and gender nonbinary workers are impacted at work.. We will cover what your rights are, what the labor laws in Seattle and Washington state are, and what to do if your rights are violated. We will also have an attorney from the Fair Work Center available to speak with people at the end of the workshop.

Tuesday, November 28:
Worq It Out -- Monthly LGBTQ Worker Support Group/ Professional Clothing Exchange
Every other month, LGBTQ Allyship offers free professional attire for workers who need it as part of a clothing exchange. We often need volunteers to sort through donations and encourage workers to bring clothing that no longer suits them.
