A journey to the South Pole is unlike anywhere else on Earth. Flying deep into the Antarctic interior, guests arrive at a world of endless white horizons, towering mountain ranges, and complete isolation from the modern world. At Three Glaciers Retreat, days are shaped by the landscape itself with opportunities for fat tire biking across snowfields, ski touring through untouched terrain, and quiet moments surrounded by some of the most remote scenery on the planet.

Purpose-built overland vehicles designed specifically for polar conditions allow guests to travel farther into the Antarctic interior, crossing vast frozen terrain that few will ever experience firsthand.

The expedition continues onward to 90° South, where guests stand at the geographic South Pole and experience one of exploration’s most iconic destinations firsthand.

Recently, The World, Residences at Sea concluded an extraordinary journey through the remote Line Islands of French Polynesia. Scattered across a vast stretch of the Pacific, these isolated atolls offer pristine coral reefs, thriving marine life, and a level of seclusion few destinations can match.

Guests explored untouched lagoons, spent time snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and experienced the natural beauty that makes this corner of the Pacific so remarkable. From wildlife encounters to remote island landings, each day offered a new perspective on one of the world’s most rarely visited regions.

EYOS was happy to facilitate the expedition programming throughout the journey, helping residents and guests experience these islands in a deeper and more meaningful way.

For many travelers, seeing a manta ray in the wild becomes the defining memory of an expedition. Not because of spectacle alone, but because of the ecological and cultural stories these animals tell. They move through the sea with a fluidity that feels almost unreal: cephalic fins unfurled, enormous mouths open to feed on microscopic plankton, fins propelling them effortlessly through nutrient-rich tropical currents. To encounter manta rays in remote waters is to witness one of the ocean’s most elegant natural histories firsthand. Click the link belie to learn more.

Solace’s interiors are both striking and deeply comfortable, with warm woods, soft textures, and thoughtfully designed spaces that make life onboard feel effortless.

Fresh from a 10-month refit completed at Pendennis in 2025, the 57-meter Feadship was reimagined with warm interiors by Vickers Studio that feel far more residential than traditional yachting. Soft textures, natural light, understated finishes, and thoughtfully designed gathering spaces create an atmosphere that feels both elevated and deeply comfortable.

From long dinners in the dining room to slow mornings on deck, Solace was designed for the rhythm of extended time at sea. Her sky lounge, expansive outdoor spaces, sauna, gym, and swim platform all feel intentionally built around how guests actually want to spend their time on board. And when it comes to dining, the experience is just as considered with exceptional meals tailored to each guest, whether that means fresh seafood after a day on the water or multi-course dinners enjoyed under the stars.

That blend of comfort and capability is part of what makes Solace so unique and it’s now receiving industry recognition. Recently, she was named the winner of the Best Refit category at BOAT International’s 2026 World Superyacht Awards, a reflection of how thoughtfully this yacht was brought back to life.

Above the Arctic Circle, Norway’s Lofoten Islands feel unreal. Jagged peaks rise straight from the sea. Small fishing villages sit tucked between dramatic fjords. White sand beaches appear where you least expect them, and in the summer months, the midnight sun stretches each day well past midnight.

It’s a destination defined by contrast. Quiet villages and towering mountains. Arctic wilderness paired with remarkable comfort. Days can be spent hiking ridgelines, kayaking through sheltered waters, fishing with locals, or simply taking in the landscape from the deck of your yacht as sea eagles soar overhead.

For photographers, it’s a dream. For adventure travelers, it’s one of Europe’s most rewarding summer destinations. And for those looking to experience Norway beyond the expected routes, Lofoten offers a level of access and privacy that feels increasingly rare.

By yacht, the region opens up even further, allowing guests to move seamlessly between remote anchorages, hidden beaches, and some of the most spectacular scenery in Scandinavia.

Originally built as an icebreaker and reimagined into a 77-meter expedition yacht, Aqua Lares was designed for places where most yachts simply can’t go. Her heritage is rugged. Her onboard experience is anything but.

Built for remote exploration, Aqua Lares combines true expedition capability with the comfort of a private superyacht. Expansive exterior decks create front-row seats to wildlife encounters and dramatic polar landscapes, while seamless zodiac operations make it easy to step directly into the experience. On board, guests return to refined interiors, a cinema, spa, wellness spaces, and highly personalized service.

What makes her especially compelling is her versatility. She’s built for destinations where capability matters whether navigating polar waters, accessing remote coastlines, or serving as a platform for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in places few travelers ever reach.

That’s exactly why she’s the perfect fit for our August 2026 book-by-cabin voyage to witness a total solar eclipse in Greenland. Positioned deep within Scoresby Sund as the Arctic sky briefly turns dark, guests will experience one of nature’s rarest events from one of the most capable yachts in the region.

Cabins are still available. To start your Greenland adventure aboard Aqua Lares, contact [email protected].

“But what moves me most is not my own descent. It is what I have watched happen to others.”

In a new article for Oceanographic Magazine, EYOS Co-Founder Rob McCallum reflects on the decades of his life he has spent planning and facilitating some of the world’s most ambitious expeditions.

From helping bring the Five Deeps Expedition to life to carefully pairing the right vessels, technology, expedition teams, and expertise for journeys to the most remote corners of the planet, Rob shares what it takes to create the conditions for extraordinary discoveries to happen.

He also reflects on his own descent to nearly 11,000 meters in Challenger Deep, where he witnessed firsthand the life, wonder, and perspective shift that exists in one of the most remote places on Earth.

At the heart of the piece is a belief that has shaped his career and continues to define exploration today:

“When they go down, they will come back changed. And that understanding, in every person who finally enters the water, is what the expedition exists to make possible.”

Sherakhan heads to Antarctica this December with a rare book-by-cabin opportunity from December 13–20, 2026, offering access to one of the most remote regions on Earth without the need to charter the entire vessel.

At 69.6 meters, Sherakhan accommodates up to 26 guests across 13 staterooms, combining the scale of a classic ocean-going yacht with the flexibility required for true expedition travel. Days are shaped by conditions and opportunity, with landings, wildlife encounters, and exploration guided by an experienced EYOS team.

This itinerary focuses on the Antarctic Peninsula, where towering glaciers, ice-filled channels, and abundant wildlife define the experience. Access by private flight avoids the Drake Passage, allowing more time exploring on location.

Availability is limited.
