One of the many great things about Seattle hosting the FIFA World Cup is the opportunity to welcome visitors from around the world and share what makes our region special. ⚽
Today, Life Science Washington had the pleasure of meeting with a delegation of Australian elected officials visiting Seattle for the World Cup, including Federal MP Jerome Laxale, Federal Senator Richard Colbeck, and NSW Finance Minister Courtney Houssos. We had the chance to discuss Washington's life science ecosystem, from groundbreaking research and innovative startups to global companies developing the next generation of therapies, diagnostics, and medical technologies.
These conversations are a reminder that innovation knows no borders. Whether through sports, science, or business, events like the World Cup create opportunities to build relationships, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections across the globe. 🤝
