REPORT: Washington state’s life sciences industry has outpaced national life science and state private sector job growth for the fifth consecutive year.
The sector has grown more than 50% over the past decade, supporting over 117,000 jobs in Washington and adding $24.4B to the state’s GDP. Despite hiring slowdowns in Washington and across the country, our life sciences industry has remained strong and continues to lead as a top 10 life sciences cluster in the U.S.
