My goal was to add an item to as many categories in my shop as possible this week
Plaid-Palooza =||=||= 💜 I’ve been away from IG this past week while helping my daughter move from Manhattan to Brooklyn rented a jenky van and dealt with crazy traffic 🚗 (photos at the end)🗽
That didn’t stop me from adding some GORGEOUS vintage madras and other plaids to my Etsy shop! c.1960s-80s.
Other additions are laces, beading and trims 🌸🤍✨

A literal treasure trove 🤍 This family had the right idea on how to keep their heirloom antique handmade lace! This amazing container is almost as large as a hat box.

Capital T ~ Vintage Japanese cotton yukata fabric on the original bolt 💙
Made using a technique called “Rokesuzome” Did you guess that it’s a kind of batik? Instead of wax, rice paste is hand painted on to resist the dye. Getting this deep black-blue requires the dye bath be left to soak longer.
Enough for a short summer robe, skirt or simple dress. 6 yards x 14 3/4” wide. Just listed.
