They said it couldn’t be done, I’ve seen failure after failure online about those who have tried and I have to say I am very proud I was able to achieve this! HC Cuba is a particularly hard type of Monte Carlo to carpet let alone grow underwater without a CO2 setup and not only have we accomplished the carpet but the HC Cuba has GROWN submerged without any CO2! This has been a work of patience and setting up an environment for nature to thrive. This
setup for my girlfriend has been fun accomplishment that is a theme of yellow guppies and some chili rasboras and a few guppies I bred myself! Let me know if you are looking to add a beautiful scape to your home or office!

Here is the 6 week progress of attempting to dry start method a HC Cuba (Monte Carlo) carpet for my girlfriends tank going with an style probably will give it a couple more weeks to fully cover before adding water to the tank. If we can pull this off with no C02 then I think that would be pretty impressive!

Did some much needed maintenance on my work desktop fish tank. I think it turned out pretty good! Moved around some plants and cleaned up the drift wood and after 1.5 years of having no filter in here I am testing out the nano sponge filter from . Sneak peak into a raining terrarium project using a large lantern piece including its own custom built in light that I added. Still running into issues to make it work perfectly so may need to redo it but here is my attempt and making progress with it.

Today’s Wednesday terrarium post in a gold framed geometric terrarium. Filled with lots of plants this time and experimenting with leaf litter and seed pods. Included in this bioactive container is also some isopods aka Rollie pollies as I called them during my childhood. Late night post! I think the song is very fitting! Franklin the turtle is enjoying his new mini mossy home. Can you spot the tiny polka dot plant? Or the tiny oak leaf creeping fig? Spring is coming! These super tiny jars I have been using recently really have been challenging my creativity. To create something simple and elegant is surely the greatest roadblock when trying to make these tiny scapes. When doin your spring cleaning this year be on the lookout for great materials!
