Soar is thrilled to welcome Devan Rogers (They/Them) to our team as the new Youth Voice Outreach Coordinator. Devan will be supporting Soar in our expanding youth development work.

Devan Rogers (They/Them), is a Black, Fat, Q***r, Artist who has lived in Seattle, (Coastal Salish & Duwamish Territories) for all 23 years of their life. Of those 23 years they have been an Anti-Racist Community Organizer for 8, their main focus being on prison abolition, and specifically the campaign, a campaign started by Youth Undoing Institutional Racism (YUIR) and spearheaded by Ending the Prison Industrial Complex (EPIC) which Devan is both a member in the community. Devan is proud to rep Skyway & Rainer Beach as their home. They are a Virgo, a video game nerd, and proud caretaker to a sweet and mischievous cat named Koda.
