There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching a kitchen go from an initial sketch to a fully built space. It starts with an idea—a rough drawing, a spark of inspiration, a mood board full of dreams.

Symmetry is a fundamental principle in design that involves creating balance and harmony by arranging elements in a way that is visually pleasing and symmetrical. In interior design, symmetry can be achieved through various means, including furniture placement, color schemes, and architectural features.
When it comes to furniture placement, having two sofas facing each other is a classic example of symmetrical arrangement. This setup creates a sense of balance and harmony in the room.

I always try to balance the intensity and saturation of the colors I choose in my spaces based on my vision for my clients. Strong colors do not have to overpower rooms when they are balanced.

This is a powder bath we did a couple years ago now. We picked out this tribal/bohemian wallpaper and paired it with an electrifying piece of art. This photo does not do it justice. Its makes a fun space to do your thang in!
Funky wallpaper paired with a cool art piece can create a vibrant and eclectic look in any space.

Once a muddy, sloped, and uninspiring backyard has been completely transformed into a stunning, multi-functional outdoor retreat—an effortless extension of indoor living.
The space was first leveled and prepped for function, creating a solid foundation for our designed layout. At the heart of the yard sits a custom-built deck with covered protection for year-round use. Integrated seating areas and a cozy fire pit invite relaxation, while a sleek outdoor shower and hot tub add a luxurious, spa-like touch.
Low-maintenance synthetic grass replaces the mess of mud, offering a clean, green look without the upkeep. Lush plantings and strategically placed trees bring softness and life to the space, framing the view and creating privacy.
This space proves that even small or challenging backyards can be elevated into stunning, functional environments that bring daily joy and long-term value.

This light is one of my favorites trending right now. Its so sleek and its gives off the most beautiful light. Elevates everything in the room. Thanks CB2 for the Exposior this season! Love.

I put this board together for a retro style movie room. I'm really big into tigers (backstory for another time). It reflects a very retro feel. Can't wait to show it to you when its done! Before and afters are gonna be amazing! Retro design refers to a style that draws inspiration from past eras, typically from the mid-20th century, particularly the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and sometimes extending into the 1980s. This design approach reflects a nostalgic appreciation for the aesthetics, colors, patterns, and forms of those bygone decades.

Inspiration pieces don't just come from house decor. Anything from jewlery, music, a single rock on a beach or an old scarf can serve as starting points for my various creative decor endeavors. They provide visual, tactile, or conceptual cues that can spark ideas and fuel my imagination!
