Loop the Lupe Obstacle Course and 5K Fun Run

Hey there! Brian Callanan here, Race Director of Loop the 'Lupe. I have a request.

We're just about to wrap up the event I've coordinated for the past 10 years for Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church, the Loop the Lupe Obstacle Course and 5K Fun Run.

We had an awesome time June 6! Despite some thunderstorm warnings, we broke a record for registrations (781 participants) and had a really fun community event with support from businesses and organizations across West Seattle.

"The Loop" has turned into the parish's largest external-facing fundraiser, and we're wrapping up the "donation drive" portion of it tonight, June 17, at midnight. The dollars go to Our Lady of Guadalupe, whose social outreach work includes providing food and essential supplies at a weekly "Welcome Table," rent and utility assistance for 1,800 local families, and much more.

If you can help out, even a little bit, I'd be much obliged. This event means a lot to me and to our community. Thanks!

CHEERS TO VOLUNTEERS: So proud of all the volunteers who helped pull off an incredibly successful Loop the 'Lupe this past weekend. We had a record number of participants, and a record number of volunteers, too!

We held a volunteer appreciation event last night at Ounces Taproom (with some delicious pizza from The Neighborhood ) and toasted another great year. Hoping to see all these smiling faces back in 2027! THANK YOU, volunteers!
