Going to the Woodland Park Zoo is a favorite activity for Sarah and Renae! The Zoo's CAP program donated passes for them and others we serve! We are so glad you had fun!

This past month, Shannon achieved her goal of planning a trip to Ireland and making it happen. With Program Supervisor, Rachel, Shannon rode in horse-drawn carriages and explored castles. She even received the “gift of gab” when she kissed The Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle! She loved the local food scene, too. Shannon tried lots of local pubs and rode the “Tea Bus” sightseeing experience.

Constance loves to go out to Shays and play the Jukebox!

On that day, your donation will help us achieve our mission of empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our client, Stephanie, has a very supportive family that you may have met if you’ve been to a Banchero event before. Her mom, Kathie, is very involved in supporting the work we do and even runs a bi-monthly activity called “Crafternoon” for all our clients to participate in. She shared that Stephanie spent eleven years with multiple other agencies trying to find a positive fit before discovering Banchero. Now, for eleven years with Banchero, Stephanie has been happy, safe, and grown her independence. When asked why she does so much to support us, Kathie said, “Family is important and I view Stephanie as part of the Banchero family. I want to support everyone in it to share the joy that she has received here”.
