When my nephew Jamie sent this photo of myself in his helmet this morning - my eyes welled up with tears of pride. Him and hundreds of other firefighters are climbing 76 floors of the Columbia Tower in Seattle today in order to find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma. I was diagnosed with leukemia in 2018 and can tell you, it is tough on the body and soul. For all of us with blood cancer PLEASE consider donating a few dollars to the Firefighter's Stairclimb - I would be eternally grateful, we all will THANK YOU so much!

beautiful moonrise over the city tonight - did you catch it?

the northern lights made a brief but beautiful appearance here in seattle last night - did you happen to catch it? The weather held just long enough to reveal an incredible lunar eclipse here in Seattle last nigh. I hope everyone got to see it or at least one in their lifetime - it truly is awesome.
