We have the best clients (humans and dogs!!) Every dog that comes here is someone's best buddy and I never take that for granted. Our dogs fill our lives with joy and love. I am grateful for the privilege of meeting them, helping them live their best lives, meeting their best people and hearing all about the things they do that make them the best dog ever!

Have you ever met a lab who hates water as much as Mr Maple?? 🥹 I always assumed labs knew how to swim instinctively, but then a friend of mine told me about their lab who SUNK to the bottom of a lake after falling off a dock 😱 (they rescued him and signed him up for lessons!) We live near a lot of water in Seattle so, for Maple’s safety, I wanted to make sure he could swim! He’s such a good boy! First and probably last lesson - but a big shoutout to the wonderful Morgana at Waterdog Spa in Seattle! ❤️ Mr Maple was in great hands!! I was so excited to meet this boy today. He did what all Doberman like to do which is load on the drama and then show off his skills. I can’t get enough of big red Doberman dogs.

Finely was made to do this kind of work. Swimming and fetching a ball is her jam, and muscle building and flexibility are mine so we negotiated a bipartisan deal!

Is there anything better than coming home to your dogs? Every dog I meet is someone’s best buddy and the best parts of my day include watching humans love their dogs and dogs loving their humans.

Not only is this girl a bright happy face first thing in the morning, she came to work! She hopped right into the pool swims hard to rehab her knee, gave me some kisses and went on her way. Did I mention she is named after perhaps the best song ever!

I am thankful for dogs! When LJ first met me she had very clear boundaries about her personal space. I was greeted with a growl 😬, we took it slow because good friendships take time to develop and I like to think I have a pretty chill vibe and magic hands. Once I got that knot out of her neck she agreed!

I was talking today about my mission statement and how it guides my business. So what is my mission statement, well I’m sure glad you asked.
Helping dogs and the people who love them. It’s as simple as that, I wake up everyday and get to help dogs and the people who love them. I put in some pics of dogs in my pool and why I’m lucky I get to be me!

I love love love when I get pictures of what the dogs are doing mid session. I’m usually so busy checking heart rates, counting breaths, watching range of motion, helping stretch or offering therapeutic touch I can miss the silliest faces. Pups having fun really is the best part Water Dog Spa
