This cohort is led by Jeff and Chris, local Dawson School educators and Makerspace extraordinaires! This cohort is open to all, especially if you do not see your content area offered in one of our other cohorts.
Educators who:
- Do projects that involve building or crafting a product
- Fab Lab teachers, Innovation teachers, Entrepreneurship teachers
- Administrators looking to stretch themselves and acquire new skills and understanding
- Educators who want to learn how to use a wide variety of tools, machines, and materials to get creative and design deep learning experiences

ISEEN's Annual Report for the 2025-2026 school year has landed in mailboxes and we are so excited to share all we were able to do thanks to the support of members like you.
Special thanks to the 14 leadership school who joined our network at an additional cost this year; with these additional resources we were able to provide our classic ISEEN programming as well as "level up" our events!
The ISEEN Winter Institute took place in Baltimore, MD and a once-in-a-decade snowstorm could not keep us away. Thank you to the 8 schools and educational service providers who partnered with us to put on a Winter Institute unlike any before it! Special thanks to Calvert School for loaning us their campus for a day -- it was so wonderful to be in a school while working on our own practice.

ISEEN's Summer Institute takes classrooms and turns them inside-out!
Not only will you spend ample time writing and workshopping innovative curriculum that you can take back to your school and implement this fall, but we will also spend time exploring Boulder and the surrounding area.
This place-based exploration is a fun and educative way to take advantage of the beautiful setting that Dawson School and Colorado offer us. Whether you're walking through museums, visiting the creek, or tasting foods from a variety of local restaurants, we are hopeful that this time in Boulder will inspire you to take your students outside and off campus -- with intention!

Each year we offer a rotating array of cohorts for our Summer Institute. We want to introduce you to the fabulous Master Teachers who will be facilitating these cohorts this year.
All of these professionals have years of experiential education and classroom teaching experience. They are hard at work fine-tuning curriculum for our participants coming to Boulder, CO June 23-26, 2026.

🌈 ISEEN x DEIN Presents: Using the Earth as a Role Model for Building Personal Resilience
This webinar will provide practitioners with a values-centered approach to intrapersonal exploration within their professional and personal development. The presence of identity-conscious and resilient educators in school communities uplifts the work of DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) initiatives and advancements. These educators can more easily stand at the forefront of advocating for young people in ways that center their voices and experiences because these adults have a greater capacity for awareness, empathy, and compassion toward others and themselves. This kind of learning better positions us to achieve our ultimate goal: to manifest meaningful, sustainable change in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across our school communities. The webinar will help to answer these questions:
