Big Announcement: The DJ company formerly known as DJ Rian Souleles is transforming into Traveling Discotheque!
There has been one guiding philosophy of my event DJ company, DJ Rian Souleles, and that is to provide the ideal wedding DJ experience I feel my ideal couple would want. I have invested my passion and creative energy into meticulously tailoring this experience by DJing hundreds of weddings and events in WA, CA, and OR to discover these elements.
To fully realize this, it became apparent I needed to expand and transform, so today I’m so excited to present Traveling Discotheque. A DJ & Musician Collective to encompass all that I and my team of artists and musicians are passionate about. We provide unparalleled and unique DJ music curation services, lighting design, and now stellar live musician ensembles that can jam with the DJ or can accompany your ceremony and/or cocktail hour.
Whether you want an electric cellist to create a cosmic atmosphere for your ceremony music, a full string quartet to play Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, or Radiohead songs arranged by the brilliant , or the exclusive DJ Rian Souleles & The Traveling Discotheque Band featuring a saxophone and percussionists to give you the sound and energy of a full live band with the genre versatility and affordability of a DJ, we are thrilled to tailor a hip, unique, and exclusive music experience for your wedding or event. We are proud to introduce this level of fusion DJ and live musician experience to our region. As a friend of some of the best musicians in the Seattle music scene, I’m confident to say our collective has the most talented players out there. They are experienced musicians that have soul and the chops, and they’re passionate about bringing that musicality to your event to match and elevate your vibe to the next level. I will be Traveling Discotheque’s premier DJ with my trademark vintage suits and ruffled shirt. Happy New Year! I’m so excited for 2023, and big changes and transformations are just on the horizon. This year I’m planning my own July 2023 wedding to my love (check her music out), and I also have a very important and cool announcement to share this Monday, so stay tuned. On Nov 2nd at the Sunset Tavern I’m DJing at a show with two of my favorite musical artists and electronic music sorceresses.
Leandrul] made one of my favorite albums of 2021, Psychosis of Dreams. She mixes her folk and choral roots and aesthetics with dark electronic and industrial gothic instincts and influences.
is a kindred music spirit with Leandrul]. Both of them approach the advant-garde and the sonic ineffable with shards of the shattered lens of their folk and classical roots. is a brilliant electronic singer-songwriter that composes beautiful songs that explore and push the sonic envelope while balancing the emotional resonances of canonical pop and the primordial sublime. She made one of my favorite albums of 2022, Cedar. She is also my love and fiancee.

Kaley reprises her latest song cycle the End of The Line with an expanded band of Seattles greatest genre-busting musicians. Featuring Heather Bentley (cello, viola) from Kin of the Moon , Chris Icasiano Christopher Icasiano] (drums) from Fleet Foxes and Bad Luck, Neil Welch (banjo/saxophone) from Bad Luck, and Kayce Guthmiller (viola, vocals)
