🚨 Introducing Carl: my new-to-me 2018 F-150 Platinum. He’s Larry’s city slicker brother. Underneath, this truck is mechanically identical to my previous one – super crew, short bed, 3.5 EcoBoost, FX4, max tow package – but with more bells & whistles, and much lower mileage. I’m stoked!

Tacoma owners take note – this is how you’re supposed to drive your truck 🤘

It was only a matter of time before Jac and I photographed our trucks together. With matching wheels, we had to! .pnw

One hell of a road trip car, minus the bucket seats

I love photographing beautiful cars in industrial places. Placing a smooth, clean car against a rugged background is very interesting to me, perhaps because the car has been removed from its normal context. You would not expect to see a Porsche at a cement plant.

This particular cement plant – Ash Grove – is a prominent landmark in South Seattle, and a registered Seattle Historical Site. It’s been around since the 1920s, nested between the West Seattle Bridge and Highway 99. Those two huge cement storage silos have always captivated me, and they’ve been the backdrop for my car photos for nearly a decade.

Omar’s Fjord Green GT4 RS looked *so* cool in this location, especially in the just-after-sunset diffused lighting. The colors all worked together very nicely.
