Remnants of the once quaint Safeway store from the 1940’s can still be seen at our location to this day. It can be found in the building’s façade and the parking lot layout and even the red and green floor tiles that we walk on everyday. We are proud of the established roots of our store and relish in its timeline. In 1973 the store transitioned from Hall’s Hardware into Stephenson’s Ace Hardware.

We're hiring! We're looking for a full-time, long-term "K-List" employee (description below) to join our team. Help us spread the word!
K-List: Our “K-List” duties require minimal experience, but a strong work ethic and a willingness to help out wherever needed. Duties include unloading freight, organizing inventory, stocking shelves, general store cleaning (sweeping, mopping, wiping down shelves, dusting inventory), lifting and loading heavy bags of soil and concrete, and providing customer service with making keys and cutting glass, wire, chain, and screen. Must be able to lift and load 60lb. bags of sand/cement. Willingness to earn a forklift certification and available to work on Monday or Thursday evenings until 8:00 p.m. to unload the pallets off the freight truck and help receive shipments. Willingness to be trained on how to program car keys, rekey locks, rescreen windows/doors, and/or sharpen tools.
