Artist Highlight | Ivanna ✨
Performing Aerial Cube in SANCA’s The Pride Show 2026 | Worldwide Pride on June 12 & 13!

“I have been performing professionally for over 20 years in aerial, dance, and theatre. I believe movement is a powerful way to express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into exact words. It has a way of cutting through a lot of the noise we have in our heads and allows us to experience ideas and perspectives on a different level. In creating pieces, I always start with "how do I want to tell this story? How does it make me feel?" Once that piece is put on the stage, I invite the audience to interpret it and take from it what they need.”

SANCA is offering an extensive day camp program at Emerald City Trapeze Arts for children ages 6 to 8! The core of Circus Exploration Camp is to invite children to the magical world of circus, without the pressures of taking their skills to the stage. Circus Exploration Camp allows students to develop physical skills, build confidence, explore their own uniqueness, and expand their creative capabilities.

We will explore various Aerial Arts (Fabric, Rope and Lyra), experience the exhilaration of Flying Trapeze, and develop ground and balance skills. This camp is a great fit for budding circus artists as well as experienced young circus artists hoping to deepen their general circus practice. Each week will feature a casual demonstration on Friday that parents are welcome to attend!

Performing Hand to Hand in SANCA’s Annual Pride Show on June 12 & 13!

“Hailing from St. Louis, MO, Oliver Layher is a multidisciplinary circus artist specializing in hand to hand. He began his circus journey at Circus Harmony at the age of 9, performing hundreds of shows in St. Louis and around the United States. After graduating high school, he continued his circus education at the National Circus School in Montreal, Canada, where he graduated in 2022.
