A selection of piggybanks and piggy pins will be available EVERY DAY at the Waterfront Marketplace on Alaskan Way across from the Great Wheel.

I’ll be at Pike Place Market this Friday 9/20 thru Monday 9/23. After that I will be away from until mid-November(ish). I will be roadtripping to my home state of Pennsylvania for my mother’s memorial and my niece’s wedding. If you are in seattle during that time, you can visit at 1400 Alaskan Way to grab a piggy! Bits of my mother…

Yesterday I mixed 3 small handfuls of her ashes, and a few of my own tears, into a lump of clay.

Today I made memory stones out of that lump of clay.

Tomorrow they will dry in the sun.

Someday soon, bits of my mother will be in the pockets of those who loved her.

The grieving continues.
