Be on the look out for brothers of Omega Delta Phi around campus selling ice cream to raise funds for toiletry kits ‼️💥
The toiletry kits will consist of items like cotton socks, facial tissues, Ibuprofen, maxi pads, wet wipes, etc and will be given to individuals experiencing homelessness. If you’re out enjoying the sun stop by and say Hi! 😁☀️

25 years ago on April 20th 1996, Lambda Chapter of Omega Delta Phi fraternity was founded at the University of Washington. Today, we commemorate our history with a celebration, so join us throughout the day, as we have prizes to give away!

Being a part of this brotherhood has made being a student worthwhile and I’m very proud and very hype to be continuing my future with ΩΔΦ!

🌟Brother Spotlight🌟
Our third brother in our spotlight is Brian Sanchez (aka Sir Helios). Brian is a sophomore studying Computer Engineering, and was part of a team developing new technological applications.

“I was able to learn iOS development to create a final translation app to help break language barriers between people trying to communicate. Users would also be able to learn a new language through this app. Made a variety of apps, mock-ups of Instagram and Twitter.”

🌟Brother Spotlight🌟
Our second brother for this brother spotlight is Jonathan Gonzalez (aka Sir Pistolero), giving us an update on his plants. 🌱

“I started to grow these plants along with my girlfriend at the beginning of the pandemic when most of the state was on lockdown. Here are a couple of the plants that I started to add to my collection. I think that my best plant right now are my daisies. They’ve grown so much up until now, I’m assuming that they will flower in another couple of months. It started to bush in the meantime. I’m really glad I helped out my girlfriend with this project because i’m attached now, and I’m definitely looking into buying plants for myself that filter air like the fiddle leaf and a parlour palm .”

For our very first brotherhood spotlight we have
Roberto Ramirez (aka Sir Comical), describing his internship at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

“This year I spent my summer interning at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. This was my fourth summer spent interning at the Hutch. My project this summer consisted of refurbishing kits that the Science Education Partnership (SEP) within the Hutch, loans out to science classes throughout Washington to promote skills used in biomedical research. I also helped with brainstorming and executing ideas on how SEP can continue to support these schools through virtual learning. Such ideas include producing videos of certain experiments being performed so that teachers can then demonstrate to their virtual classes.”
