“Brite Lines often sounds like a wise old friend, with a smooth and emotive folk-rock sound, recalling bands like Wilco or Beulah at their softer moments.”
- The Stranger

“A music lover’s dream… eclectic genius… Though fans will already be cognizant of the band’s immense talent as songwriters and musicians, new listeners are in for a treat.”

We had a blast playing stripped-down versions of all our new music last night at to an incredibly attentive audience made up of many friends and family members. Miller’s rules—100% worth the trip out to Carnation for all you fellow Seattle folks! Big thanks to the organizer of this event (and terrific opening act), Farmer Dave () and the terrific for playing a beautiful set of music, too. Can’t wait to get these songs out into the world! 🎥:

BRITE LINES -Album Preview with MTN EAR and Farmer Dave
Saturday, May 23rd
7:00 – No Cover

Seattle Indie Americana band Brite Lines released an EP and LP more than a decade ago, playing sold out shows in clubs like The Crocodile and the Tractor Tavern at the time. When singer-songwriter Zach Gore became a father and full-time educator, music shifted to the back burner. However, the band has recently emerged from this long hiatus to write and record a new full-length record, tapping into musical inspiration from classic 1970s Nashville country albums and Zach’s coming of age in the Snoqualmie Valley. This will be their first public appearance in almost a decade!

Still feeling so thankful to this group of incredibly talented and kindhearted folks who helped track this record last week. 😍

10 years ago, on this day, we released our first (and, so far, only!) full-length record, When We Arrive. Honestly, I (Zach) listened back to it recently and I’m still so proud of it. And, unlike when it was released and I was banking on selling the 500 vinyl copies we made (still got ‘em, y’all! Order up!), I really couldn’t care less whether we have 4 monthly listeners on Spotify or 4,000.

All of our lives have changed a lot over the course of this last decade, but I’m happy to still call these bandmates my friends. I’m still thankful to all those who had a hand in making this record a reality. And I’m looking forward to putting out another album sometime in the not-so-distant future. We might not press 500 vinyl copies, though… 😅
