A little teamwork in the kitchen goes a long way! 👩‍🍳 Teri and Kennadie recently enjoyed a cooking class hosted by Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties and Epicurious, a fun way to build skills, work with your hands, and connect with fellow partners and colleagues in the remodeling and construction industry.

Recently, the CRD team hosted a fun team bonding afternoon with The Works Seattle, a local small business based right here in Fremont. 🌿 Their team came to us and taught everyone the Japanese art of Kokedama, a traditional plant craft where you wrap plant roots in moss to create a living, sculptural arrangement. Every team member made their own to take home and honestly, we're impressed with how they turned out!

We're in the planning stages for this incredible detached garage project in Meadowbrook and we can't wait to break ground this fall! 🔨 Our client's uniquely shaped, extra-large parcel gave us the opportunity to design a roughly 1,000 sq ft garage that perfectly matches his existing home. The new space will come complete with two overhead doors (including an extra tall door for the big builds), a lofted area, a full bathroom, and plenty of space for his cars and motorcycle workshop.

Right now we're working closely with the city to make sure everything gets the green light and we'll be sharing updates along the way. Stay tuned!

Behind the scenes at our Magnolia whole-house remodel! 👀 This project is shaping up to be a showstopper, with a kitchen and two beautifully detailed bathrooms all coming together at once.

In the kitchen, we're featuring horizontal rift white oak cabinetry in a natural stain by Bellmont Cabinet Co. Then, in the guest bath, a stunning tub surround in Marin Misty Blue tile paired with a Jumbo Basketweave honed marble mosaic floor in Glorious Blue and Thassos Dot. And in the primary bath, a serene shower featuring Cloe White and Celine Hex porcelain tile in Greige. All of the gorgeous tile is from Bedrosians Tile and Stone.

Before & After: the Stevens/North Capitol Hill Mudroom Addition! 🏠 What was once an underutilized section of a wraparound porch is now a bright, functional mudroom that looks like it has always been part of this 1908 Craftsman home!

With custom cabinetry, a durable tiled floor, and a new window to bring in natural light, we gave this historic Stevens neighborhood home a proper landing zone for coats, shoes, and all of Seattle's rainy day gear. Swipe to see the transformation!
