We're at Glacier Peak for our second 2019 FRC District Event! Swing by our pit to pick up 4180 buttons and stickers, as well as LGBTQ+ of FIRST buttons, pamphlets for students, and a pamphlet specifically for mentors!

Join us at 4:30 PM for a roundtable on LGBTQ+ of FIRST. Room number posted at pit admin. 🏳️‍🌈

After much deliberation the software department has decided to meet Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. Tuesdays will focus on Java while Thursday will be Robotics programming. Also .h.g still needs to fill out the roster.

Back from Worlds and back in action!

The Iron Riders are currently at participating in the Science night at Olympic View Elementary School showing students our pep robot. If we learned one thing at Championships it was that there is a future for those interested in STEM. Hopefully some of the kids at tonight's science night can learn the same and come to love robots just as much as we do.

We've gotten seats to watch FIRST Robotics Einstein matches! If only they would come sooner...

World Championships: Day Four

The Iron Riders did not get chosen during the Curie Division Alliance Selections. During our time in Curie, team 4180 established a CCWM (Calculates Contribution to Win Margin) of 8.62, the 20th highest in our division (of 75 teams). This stat means that the team did its part to consistently contribute to our alliances. While the team will not continue to compete at Championships, we plan to support other teams from our PNW (Pacific Northwest) District.
