It's official, Jimmye is retired! Yesterday we gathered in true Junction Hardware style — in the back room, surrounded by shelves, boxes, flowers, balloons, cake, pizza, and a whole lot of stories — to celebrate Jimmye’s retirement. 💛

It was extra special to have longtime and former Junction Hardware folks there too, including Jack, Ken, Laurie, and Grace. Because around here, people don’t just work together — they become part of the store’s family.

Thank you, Jimmye, for all the years, all the laughs, all the hard work, and all the West Seattle neighbor-helping along the way.

After 21 years at Junction Hardware, it’s time for Jimmye to begin a well-earned retirement.

For more than two decades, Jimmye has been a familiar face behind the counter here at Junction Hardware. Many of you have checked out with her, chatted for a minute, or seen her show up in one of her memorable Halloween costumes over the years.

Her last day will be April 30.

If you're in the neighborhood before then, feel free to stop by and wish her well as she heads into her next chapter.
