I'm not sure I'll ever tire of this spot on the Oregon Coast. Likely one of the most photographed rock formations in Oregon: Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach.

I've been to this spot at least 15 - 20 times over the years.

So, when you've been to a spot so many times, how do you find a new way to photograph it? In this instance, I'm using a bit of a slow shutter speed and moving the camera to create a slight sense of motion blur.

Sunset at Seaside

I love the Oregon coast, and a fave spot is Seaside, a small city just north of Cannon Beach. In the off-season, you can find hotels right on the beach for a reasonable price.

I love to find a cool frame and see what wanders in. For me, street photography is about patience, a lot of patience. I also love a bright, sunny day to find great light and deep shadows.
