For hardware geeks - Chickadee started with Raspberry Pi 3 and ultimately standardized prototypes on the Pi Zero W. Photos are sent from each cam directly to the cloud via wifi. If anyone wants DIY tips on transforming your living room into a bird surveillance center, just ask!

Despite five years in the Pacific Northwest, there is still something unsettling about brown chickadees...
