My days of selling Michel Design Works products are over. They've been bought out by Stonewall Kitchens, and I'm too small of a business to hit their new minimum order amount. It's too bad because I really do like the foaming soaps in particular. I'll be closing out what I have left at 50% off. Having said that, I'm now starting to stock a small amount of the European soap line. Their most popular collection is Pré de Provence.. Which I have used before and love!. I'll post photos of what I have to start with... Several liquid soaps, bar soap, soap gift set, and unscented body wash. Come check things out. And as always, I still have my line of Keune and So Pure hair products. (Although I think they're trying to phase out the So Pure collection)

Just in case you haven't met her yet, there's a new shop dog in town! Meet Edna Mae. She's a 5 month old Basset hound and full of love and drool. She's getting really good at learning not to jump up on my clients so please have patience during this time.

Finally selling a product from a local young man. I've been using Jude's Lotion Bars for a couple of years now, and I love them. They're made of all natural ingredients: cocoa butter, coconut oil and beeswax. It works right into your skin, and doesn't leave a greasy film. I use it after I've been gardening, after I've been in water all day, and right before bed. You can use them as body lotion, or just on hands. It smells good enough to eat! $7/tin Support local businesses!

Tomorrow, March 12, the mask mandate ends. I will still be masking up for the foreseeable future, however I am leaving it up to my clients to decide if they want to wear a mask or not in the salon.

Did some fun amethyst color this week on Joyce's hair. The front is brighter where she is 100% white, and I like how the back looks highlighted from the white hairs grabbing the color more than the dark hairs of her salt and pepper hair color. We did a dark brown on the nape and around the ears. A nice change for retirement!

The Christmas products have arrived. Here's a sample of some of what I've got (I always order too much)! It's not too early to get your Christmas/Holiday presents purchased. I know.. We haven't even had Halloween or even Labor Day yet. But by November, they may be gone. P.S...I ship!
