Sound Advice Home Inspection is involved in a fun winter monitoring project. Though we frequently use infrared imaging for insulation and water intrusion issues during home inspections, this is the first time we're using it to monitor the health of our favorite pollinators: Honey Bees! We're working in conjunction of local beekeper Katherine G to monitor the health of her hive this winter. Check out what the inside of a healthy bee hive looks like on Infrared! I'm no bee specialist, but they sure do look toasty. It makes me smile.
