A message from Dr. Henkle.

I am very excited to let everyone know that I will be joining Seatown Veterinary Care, starting on July 20th. I am grateful to everyone at Phinney Ridge Animal Hospital for 23 wonderful years, and to all of the amazing people and animals who have been with us through those years. I will be joining a team of outstanding people who work together to provide exceptional, personalized care to their clients and their pets. I look forward to hopefully seeing many of you again there.

Thank you for continuing to be patient with us as we forward records, and with the reception staff where you are transferring to. Things continue to be hectic everywhere and our closing has created a large number of people needing to set up appointments at the same time.

We want to extended a heart felt thank you to all of the people who reached out to us in the final weeks to say goodbye and tell us that we would be missed. The outpouring of cards and gifts were amazing and we can’t begin to tell you how much it meant to us. The food and drink brought much joy during a difficult time. We were so fortunate to have had such amazing people trust us with their pets through the years. You will all be missed.

Dear Friends and neighbors,

It is with great regret that we must announce the closure of Phinney Ridge Animal Hospital after 37
years serving the greater Greenwood area. Lack of available staffing, due to the pandemic, has made
operation of the clinic untenable. It has been a great joy and honor to provide care for the pets in our
community, and to be part of the lives of so many amazing people through the years. We will miss you
all.

Our Last appointments will be May 20th and our last day will be May 27th, 2022. We are committed to
transferring your pet’s care as smoothly as possible. If you choose a new facility before we close, please
call so records may be transferred. Also, if you need routine refills, please request them, but please
make arrangements to transfer care as soon as possible so you don’t run out during the transition. Dr.
Henkle will be selecting a position at a different facility: for updates please watch our page.
After May 27th, the clinic voice mail and email will be monitored regularly for requests for transfer of
records.

We wish you and your pets all the best in the years to come.

Our door will remain locked during business hours and we will only be allowing one client (or couple) into the lobby at a time.

Please call from your cell phone to check in for your appointment or to let us know you need to pick up food or medications.

Our hours may change but we will be checking voicemails and returning calls as needed.

If you are going to one of the ER’s, call ahead to let them know you are on the way. They will have similar protocols in place.
