Great times had by all this past weekend at annual Lunar New Year Event. and I lead our Lion Dance Demo to a full house. Thank you everyone who came out to celebrate with us! Thanks to Han and Doan, my fam holding it down. 🫶

Trying to hone my style by studying the master

I watched this several times

I remember the previews for 'Star Kid' more vividly than the movie itself. Released in 1997, the film starred Joe Mazzello, Richard Gilliland, Corinne Bohreh, and Arthur Burghardt as the voice of Cy, along with Alex Daniels as the cybersuit.

Spencer Griffith, a timid seventh-grader, navigates the challenges of seventh grade. When he witnesses a meteorite crashing into a nearby junkyard, he feels compelled to investigate. What he discovers is not a meteorite, but a small rocket ship. Its sole passenger is a cybersuit containing AI, enabling communication. It doesn't take long for Spencer to decide to try it on, and thus the Star Kid is born. He names the cybersuit Cy.

As cheesy as the movie may have been, its concept sparked our childhood imagination, making us wish an alien spaceship would crash near our homes so we could have our very own exoskeleton cybersuit.
