A fingerpickin' lightman, playing Outlaw Country, Pop, Rock and Jazz in the Pacific Northwest. He even went to the store with him to make sure he did.

You can take the boy out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the boy. In 1967 my cousin Charlie Dimare, a kid named Buddy Lee, and I were watching The Monkees at Jimmy Baker's across the street from where we lived. Jimmy's Band was born that day, and my mom bought me my first guitar. A few years later Mickey Jones heard me play Black Bird and he told my step dad to buy me a proper guitar. The rest is history.
