High Post

Something’s been going on behind the scenes that we’d like to share with you! As of June 1st Hana will be leaving the business as an owner. Allegra will be taking the wheel and plans to drive High Post in a new direction. This is very exciting for both of us as we both get to move towards are deepest desires in our professional lives. Hana will not be exiting the salon right away, she will continue to take her clientele at High Post through the end of June. Stay tuned for updates on where to find Hana in the future! Please text Hana directly at 206-387-7804 for any future appointment requests beginning June 1st. As for Allegra, you will continue to find her at the same location High Post has always been.

We have had a beautiful business partnership, and care for each other deeply. This process has been scary, but also extremely transformative for us both! We are so proud of what we have created together and are incredibly supportive of one another, and our new ventures that lie ahead. We greatly appreciate all of your support to us throughout the years!

🌈 For those of you who are unfamiliar with this diagram, this triangle reflects the three facets of our business, and how maintaining equal angles of this triangle is essential to operating in harmony.

📍With every decision we make at High Post, we take our time and always ask ourselves these three questions.

-Is it good for the stylist?
-Is it good for the client?
-Is it good for the salon?

💥If an idea, or system, is not good for all 3 players, then it’s back to the think tank to come up with a better solution!

Did you know we are located in Northwest Work Lofts? Once a roaring ‘20s warehouse, Northwest Work Lofts is a unique and historic building. The property has served a number of purposes. In the 1950s, it became a space for artists and creative workers; later, it converted into an incubator, housing small startups with big ideas. It wasn’t until 2000 that the space underwent renovations and was rebranded into the Northwest Work Lofts.

We love this old building. It has lived through so many eras in Seattle and we are grateful to call it home.

We are the type of artists and leaders who are always hungry to learn more. We have no fear in questioning the status quo of the beauty industry and challenging ourselves and others to level up and leave this industry better than we found it. ✨Finding a new hairstylist…his process is kind of like dating! It’s important for the client to do their due diligence when finding a new stylist…i.e.: if you see someone out in public with hair that looks like the style of hair that you want, or your friend is rocking a look that you love- ask them who their stylist is! Another great tool is Instagram. Search for stylists in your area to find work that you admire.
 
✨When you find a stylist you like, schedule a consultation with them to talk about your current hair situation and what your hair goals are! Sometimes it might not be the best fit, and that is OK. If a stylist refers you to someone else, they are doing so because they recognize that their expertise of skill may not align with what YOU want, and they want you to receive the best results possible. A reciprocal energetic vibe is equally important! If a stylist and client personalities don’t jive, don’t force it.
 
✨TRUST THE PROCESS. Trusting someone new can be tricky but if you have done your homework, you should feel confident in your new stylists’ hands. Hairstylists are creatives and do their best work when they know they are trusted!

We wanted to share some news while you stare at this beautiful redhead, Libby. We both have decided to step into our most desired feelings and focus on what really lights us up as hair artists. How Exciting!
 
What this means is:  Allegra will not be taking any NEW color clients on. She will continue with her current clientele while she focuses on making space for new clients seeking her haircutting capabilities. Hana will not be taking any NEW haircut clients. She will continue with her current clientele while she focuses on making space for new clients seeking her color expertise.
 
Thank you all for the continued support as we welcome in this new chapter of our careers as business women and hairstylists!
