Happy movie premiere day!
Here's a throwback - the first one I ever did in fact, nearly a decade ago!
Those games were so special to me so Im excited to have them translated into the silver screen. It was a fun romp even if it didnt live up to expectations (but then again, how could it?).
Definitely will be revisiting this universe in a new isometric piece sometime in the near future (as I don't think this one holds up to my current standards πŸ˜… )

All set up at ! Swing by Booth G-08 !
Some wins and some Ls with the new booth set up. Biggest change is the clearer price tags and bundle discount info as well as smaller hand-held catalog. Crious to see how it impacts! Learning and improving one show at a time!

HELLO SEATTLE! CATCH ME AT this week!
I'll be at booth G-08 with my first con-exclusive sticker, a little recurring thing does for all his cons and I thought it was too cool to not do the same!
Swipe for the full catalog and otherwise, see y'all Thursday!

I literally wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Pokemon. That filthy Pokemon Yellow cartridge is how I learned English.
Being born and raised in Brasil, I spoke Portuguese but really wanted to play the game so I kept that GBC in one hand and an english-portuguese dictionary on the other.
So, of course, I had to celebrate the OGs in their iconic color palete.

🐀πŸ”₯(4/4) Kanto Legends πŸ”₯🐀
Had a lot of fun trying to condense the maze of Victory Road into a small diorama like this! Now that all four are out, which one was your favorite?

🐀⚑ Zapdos at the Power Plant⚑🐀
(3/4) Of my Isometric Kanto Legends series!
Articuno had me on an early spell but soon after Zapdos became my favorite. Plus, he has the coolest habitat.

"I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are"
Happy Birthday Mewtwo!
This is the first of a series of four pieces capturing each of the legendary pokemon from Kanto and their iconic habitats (or, in this case, birthplace). I've always loved the Burnt Tower piece I did a couple years ago so I thought would be fun to revisit the concept, but for Kanto. Hope you enjoy catching all the nods and references. Have you spotted Mew?

One could argue this is one of the most iconic Pokemon battles. It opened the games, it opened the anime. Regardless of your starter or your favorite pokemon, the first battle you saw was that of a Gengar vs Nidorino (or Jigglypuff!) and what a way to set the tone of what was to come.
I inked this piece a few years ago, actually, but felt it was an appropriate month to finally bring it to color.

Happy ! With the 30th right around the corner, February will be filled with a mix of retrospective AND new artworks inspired by these Pocket Monsters! Couldn't start elsewhere but with the OGs. Or well, technically not THE OGs, since Yellow came a little later but you get what I mean!

In heavy anticipation to Cult of the Lamb's Woolhaven, I decided to work on this piece, another one in my Isometric Nostalgia series, where I condense the whole of the game into a tiny traditionally-inked diorama.
I had been aware of Cult of the Lamb, but hadnt played it until my GF introduced it to me as one of her favorite games and the Goat DLC, unholly alliance, dropped. It was funny when I realized accidentally i had added at least a nod to each of the major expansions in this piece.
I also wanted to do something special so I created this more somber, monochromatic with touches of red and gold version of the painting so if that floats your boat, nab it while you can!
